(4 minutes read)
Here’s what you’ll learn today:
1/ Adopting a healthy routine will make you a better leader.
Leaders, CEO’s, entrepreneurs… have two common traits:
For busy people, do your self care routine first thing in the morning:
Then start your day at 110% the evening is for recharging your energy for the next day.
“Your health is key to any form of success.”
2/ Community driven > product driven :
Ask your community what they like and what they don’t.
Adapt to their needs.
Everything else is a waste.
--
Don’t chase the growth. Chase the process.
Don’t follow trends, it’s too draining.
3/ Be consistent, be regular, be authentic:
Share with your audience the timing of your posts and make them believe they’re part of the process.
Avoid being numbers driven.
Go organic.
Be thankful for the mistakes you’ve made, they made you who you are.
Mistakes are part of growth, don’t avoid risky challenges.
4/ Put good into this world:
Avoid comparing yourself to others. Quit the subjective thinking.
You have so much to share, just go for it, there is no better moment to start than now.
Get clear on the goal, choose a medium, start writing, filming, podcasting, whatever… Just start!
There is only one of you in this world.
Do something extraordinary, do something magical.
You’ll be judged, that’s part of the process, just go for it.
Building a brand, starting a podcast, becoming a YouTuber, have become THE new jobs. People are bored from the classical path. Choose your own path, no one has to dictate what you should do.
5/ Be a lifelong learner:
This is one of the most important virtues that you can adopt. Seeking continuous learning and being curious are traits that will make you achieve amazing things in life and business.
Stay consistent in the same goal. Keep believing in it, doing your best, improving over and over until you own it.
Make people feel extraordinary.
6/ Mission led > Profit led :
If you don’t know your WHY simply just don’t start a brand. Starting a brand for money is the wrong way of doing things. Your pure core ideology doesn’t have to be money.
Example:
- Loosing 10 pounds:
Why? Feel better
Why? Fit in a wedding dress
Why? Confidence
7/ Journey > destination:
Motivation is overrated.
Build consistency and discipline in your daily life.
{ Consistency = Showing up }
{ Motivation = Either, or }
It takes 3 months to incorporate a consistent habit.
If something is not sustainable in your life, stop doing it!
Consistency is better than intensity.
8/ Go deeper into your WHY:
Everything always goes back to the “WHY”.
Tip: Question why about everything.
9/ Everyone you hire should be great:
If your team doesn’t challenge you, there is an issue.
Use “WHY” often with your team, it encourages conversation, it encourages collaboration and it shapes each others thoughts.
Treat your team like people, they have families, they want holidays, they want free weekends…
The top virtues of your team should be:
Plus, you need to:
10/ Hire slow, fire fast:
Did they fit your culture?
Hire people who will love the brand, and be part of the family.
